Dr. Jeff Vinokur, PhD

PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular & Structural Biology from UCLA.

WHO IS DR. JEFF? As millions of kids know him, he is the creator of Generation Genius, science videos used in 30% of all schools in the US to teach K-8 science. Dr. Jeff has also performed science experiments on dozens of tv shows and specializes in getting kids excited about science through ‘WOW’ experiments.

WHY I LOVE SCIENCE? Science has always been my passion. I started out doing my own experiments as a kid, mixing kitchen chemicals during middle school, building robots in high school, and ultimately conducting biofuels research at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

WHY SCIENCE KITS? When I was a kid, I loved doing experiments with my hands and making things bubble, fizz, and change colors. Now I want to share all those same kinds of fun, hands-on activities that have fueled my passion and love for science.

Each monthly science box contains everything you need to conduct 3 fun-filled home science experiments. With all of the supplies included and new science topics covered to teach and inspire curiosity in kids at home. In addition to the experiments, every box comes with a unique video URL + password to access and watch an exclusive step-by-step video, hosted by Dr. Jeff!

All kits comply with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission requirements.
None of our kits involve fire or sparks, and sorry kids no explosions.
