  • 2Cucharadas de cloruro de calcio
  • 0.5Cucharaditas de alginato de sodio
  • 1Tazón con 1 taza de agua
  • 1Botella de plástico con 1 taza de agua.
  • 1Colorante para alimentos
  • 1Utensilio para revolver
  • 1Par de gafas de seguridad
  • 1Par de guantes

Instructions

  • 1Agrega 2 cucharadas de cloruro de calcio al recipiente con agua y mezcla.
  • 2En la botella, agrega unas gotas de colorante para alimentos y media cucharadita de alginato de sodio.
  • 3Tapa el frasco inmediatamente y agítalo durante 30 segundos. Puede llevar algún tiempo disolverse.
  • 4Vierte el líquido de la botella en el tazón (intenta hacer un chorro continuo de líquido).
  • 5Espera 10 segundos y extrae la sustancia nueva.

How It Works

La reacción química entre dos recursos naturales (cloruro de calcio y alginato de sodio) forma un material sintético. El alginato de sodio proviene de las algas y el cloruro de calcio proviene de las rocas. La sustancia gelatinosa se forma porque el alginato de sodio reacciona con el cloruro de calcio para formar alginato de calcio.
