I recently found a new supplementary science resource that goes along with our state standards, and I wanted to share it with you. I found out about it from another teacher, it’s called Generation Genius and it’s a website that has K-8 science videos and lessons for literally every science topic I will be covering this year. See here: www.GenerationGenius.com
I tried one of the lessons on INSERT_TOPIC_HERE with my class and they absolutely loved it. They ask for more Generation Genius videos constantly, and the videos are based on our state standards. The videos come with lesson plans, quizzes, discussion questions, DIY activities, and it’s made alongside the National Science Teaching Association. I shared it with INSERT_OTHER_TEACHER_HERE and she felt the same way when trying a lesson with her class. My free trial expired and I would love to keep using it if possible. Is this something we can consider getting as a school? You can see more about it here: www.GenerationGenius.com and pricing is shown right on the website under the “Pricing” link at the top. Happy to chat more about it if you are interested.
Thanks!
